easy no bake dessert your family will love | dessert, cooking, video recording | easy no bake dessert your family will love In this DIY cooking video, I make an easy no bake dessert that brought back memories from my childhood. This... | By Life with Coco | We're going to start off with something I loved as a child. Ooh me too. Putting these in here. Stack them in nice and neat. You love Twinkies too? Yes. I mean this is bringing back so many memories. I remember how I would always try to eat these things in one bite. I would just stuff them in there. Uh and I was the opposite. I would take little bites and try to make it last as long as possible. Yeah I can see you. You still do that. That's true. Wow. You did your math before. Look I did my math. It's all there. Now we're going to press them down just a little bit because we're going to be adding a lot of fun stuff here. We want to make sure that we got enough room for everything. Alright? Now we're going to set that aside. And we're going to bring over a mixing bowl. Now first thing we're going to do is we're going to start off with some what do we got here? Some chocolate. Jell-O mix. Jello mix but we're not making jello mix. Okay. We're making pudding. Now I've got three cups here of milk. But this is 2%. Now I'm only going to put and 1half cups in here. Okay. Ooh. Yeah, I know. It comes down like that. Are we good? I think we're good. I'll do a little bit more. There we go. Look, I made a mess. Now, we're going to bring it over here. What do we got? We got ourselves some cool whip. Now, we got the extra creamy. I like. Okay. And we're going to put in half of that in here. Okay. Now, here we go. You don't need to measure. I don't need a measure on nothing. We don't need to be perfect. Okay. Life isn't perfect and now are we. Now, I'm going to bring in here. Got ourselves mixer. We'll mix this up. Now if you haven't already guessed we're making ourselves a no bake dessert today. We're going to bring this right in here. Now I love what we're doing here. We're just going to pour it all in there now. We're probably going to need a little bit help. As we do this. It's pretty thick. So we're just going to get it all in there. Just like this. Now, you just going to spread it out, alright? You want to spread it out. You're going to put it all over here. Okay, look at all of that. Now, it's okay if it gets all down in the creases there. Don't worry about it. Okay, we're just going to smooth that out nice and smooth. Ain't that looking good? Definitely smells good. Smells good. We're going to bring in just a little extra here. Okay. Cut. Ooh look at that. Mm. It does smell good doesn't it? It sure does. Oh my. I'm so excited. Next we're going to layer in something. Now we're going to just got ourselves some honey. Oops. Got ourselves some honey graham crackers. Mhm. Alright. Now we're going to be putting. We're going to lay these down flat. Okay. There we go. Make sure you cover as much as you can. Now the funny thing is about getting these graham crackers. They always come broken. Uh they always come broken so we're going to do different pieces here and there. Make sure we can put them in the sides like that. And Keep going there. Okay. Let's see what we can do here. Can I push them down and get that there? Does it fit? I think I can. I think it does fit. Oh Nobody saw that, right? It's not about perfection. Oh, there we go. Alright. Now, we're going to pull that aside and we're going to do something else again. Any idea what? We got ourselves some vanilla. Vanilla this time, okay? Vanilla this time. Stick it in there. We're going to stick in the remainder of our milk. Right? And now what are we going to do? We're going to bring in our cool whip. Okay. Now I I sense that you have a little reticence here and you don't think I'm doing this right. Would you agree? It's no, you're doing great, honey. I'm doing great? Yeah. Well, I appreciate that. Stay right there. I'm I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I want to measure everything. Now, we're going to mix this together. Here we go. Alright. Now, if you've been paying attention, you know what's coming next. I'm going to pour this right back in. This one's a lot runnier. It is a lot runnier is because I use more milk in this. Oh, okay. I believe I put less milk in the other but here's the thing, does it matter? I I would say, yes. You would say, yes, of course you would but I I love desserts. I love these no-baked desserts. Yeah. It's just so easy, right? Now, what I'm concerned about is, are we going to have enough room? It's pretty pretty full. It is pretty full but I don't mind going fuller. Okay. Cuz here we go. Let's stack these again. As you can see, I only have broken ones now. See what we got here. Put them in there. Do I have room? There's one. There's two. There's three. Oh. Graham crackers. Alright. Now, one more step. Every dessert's gotta have some icing. So, we're going to use ourselves some chocolate Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton has her own frosting. She got her own frosting. Look at, oh, look at that pour in there. You go, Jolene. You go. Look at that. She'll work a nine to 5. This is definitely not taking us nine to five to make. No, and that's the thing. So, we're just going to smooth, nice and quick. That's the whole thing. I wanted to show that it's just so quick. So easy. I wonder if Dolly Pop never does use her own icing. I would hope so. She's like, Dolly, could you go get some Dolly out of the fridge? It's a way to make a living. I love it. Alright. Now, we're going to stick this in the refrigerator and we're going to do that for about 2 hours. Ooh, okay. Two hours in the fridge. Here we go. Now, here we have it but I want to show you something on the bottom. Go with me. Go up. Go up. Go up. Go up. Look at all them Twinkies. It reminds me of when I was a kid. Uh I love it so much. Now, now listen. Uh you can take a look at it here. You can see that we got a little it's a little off kilter. It's a I mean I don't know but I'm excited to jump in. So, let's do that, okay? I'm going right here. I'm going right here. Mm. Yep. And going down there. You can see those squares. You could just cut right along. That's exactly what I'm doing. Okay. I'm going right in the middle there. I love to go right in the middle. You sure do. Come on Twinkie. Come to Papa. Now here's the problem. I don't have myself a fork. But take a look at that y'all. Look at that. We got all our layers in there. Take a look. You see that? Together. It came together. Now, I don't have my fork with me and I know you all going to give me a hard time in the comments but guess what? You eat your Twinkie with your hands and you're going to eat this with your hands. Here we go. You are. Here we go. Look at that dear. Alright. Here we go. Come here Twinkie. Oh man. Mm. Y'all. This is a excellent no bake Twinkie Twist.
