Tardigrades are a phylum of microscopic segmented animals related to arthropods. They are popularly known as water bears. Highly resilient, tardigrades can survive temperatures ranging from just above absolute zero (−273.15 °C) to 150 °C, pressures of 6,000 atmospheres, and 5,000 Gy of radiation, about 1,000 times more than a human can withstand. #science #ciências #Biology #Biologia
