In light of my recent BBC interview, here's some unseen footage from the Rutland Sea Dragon excavation - AKA, a 10-metre-long ichthyosaur we uncovered at Rutland Water Nature Reserve. One of the greatest finds in British palaeontological history. It was nice to be interviewed by the BBC recently, all about some amazing ichthyosaur finds (and a pterosaur, courtesy of Darren Withers!) in Leicestershire and Rutland.
