Today in Priest History: Judas Priest played the Rock Pop Festival at Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany on December 18th, 1983! This show was part of a short pre-Defenders of the Faith tour that Priest embarked on across Britain and Europe from December 12th - 22nd. At this show, Priest played Freewheel Burning live for the first time, nearly 3 weeks before it would be released on the Defenders of the Faith album in January.
